Child Policy

  • Ages 0 to 4: Free of charge.
  • Ages 5 to 11: 50% discount (when sharing a room with adults).
  • Ages 12 and up: Regular rate applies.

Rate Includes:

  • Ground transportation: Round trip from San José to the embarkation port (fixed schedule between approximately 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.).
  • Meals en route: Breakfast and lunch at our restaurant, Senderos Río Blanco.
  • Boat transportation: Round trip from the port to Laguna Lodge (fixed schedule at approximately 10:00 a.m. in La Pavona).
  • Lodging: Accommodation at the lodge.
  • Full board: All meals included at the Lodge (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
  • Guided boat tour: Through the Tortuguero National Park canals.
  • Visit: To the town of Tortuguero.
  • Nature walks: Through gardens, trails, and the beach.
  • Certified naturalist guide.

Not Included:

  • Entrance fees to Tortuguero National Park (Canals sector): Payment must be made via www.sinac.go.cr using a credit or debit card. Prices are subject to change without notice by the National System of Conservation Areas (SINAC).
  • Entrance fees to Tortuguero National Park (Cerro sector): Payment must be made via www.sinac.go.cr using a credit or debit card.
  • Drinks: Alcoholic beverages and sodas.
  • Souvenir shop.
  • Additional activities: Sunrise boat tour, El Jaguar trail, kayaking, Tortuguero Hill (Cerro) visit, and turtle nesting tours (seasonal, from July to October).

Important Notes:

  • Luggage limit: The maximum weight allowed per person on the boats is 23 kilograms (50.7 lbs).
